Are you a Leader?

On today's competitive markets individuals are expected to have more than technical skills. Leadership is one of them.

Today I attended a meeting with the "Leadership Class" held at the Sofitel Hotel in Miami.

Besides of spending time with the current president of the PMI South Florida Local chapter "Teresa Colon" and President-Elect "Patricia Garofano" I also meet actual students from the "Leadership Class".

It was very interesting the fact that these students came from different regions such as Uruguay, Canada, Cincinnati (Ohio) Pittsburgh and many other places. Talking to the students I realized that I can develop those skills as well and apply them to daily activities.

The program started in September of 2005 as part of the PMI leadership development activivities.

Cornelius Fitchner from the PMPodcast.com recently visited my blog and posted some comments. The web community is great in the sense that you can get in touch with your collegues.
